Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
- Arrive at Srinagar Airport. You will be greeted by our representative who will assist you in transferring to your chosen houseboat on Dal Lake.
- Check in and freshen up.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, witness the floating gardens, and experience the unique lifestyle of locals.
- In the evening, explore the local marketplaces and indulge in some shopping for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs.
- Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar.
- Visit Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). These beautiful terraced gardens offer stunning views of the Dal Lake and are adorned with vibrant flowers and fountains.
- Explore Shankaracharya Temple, situated atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Srinagar.
- Visit the Old City and explore its narrow lanes, ancient mosques, and bustling bazaars.
- Return to the houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Day Trip to Gulmarg
- After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Gulmarg, which is about a 2-hour drive from Srinagar.
- On arrival, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Gulmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Flowers.”
- Explore the stunning landscapes, and take a ride on the famous Gulmarg Gondola (cable car), which offers mesmerizing views of the snow-capped peaks (a Gondola ride is subject to weather conditions and operational status).
- Enjoy activities like horse riding, trekking, or simply stroll around the lush green meadows.
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 4: Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the houseboat.
- You may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploration depending on your departure schedule.
- Our representative will assist you in transferring to the Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
